I want to see the reason why Mitsubishi isn't making cars like this one anymore.

Seems pretty straight forward really... They teamed up with Dodge, they cannibalized sales through the Talon, Stealth, Avenger and other cars.
Mitsu also took a turn for being unreliable, profits were down so they cut costs on anything not making them money, basically everything but the Lancer and Galant it seems.
What I really want is a return to the 2nd gen Eclipse and the 3000GT!

Their Dodge partnership started long before this car, actually. It goes back to the Colt. CurbsideClassic has a good writeup here: http://www.curbsideclassic.com/curbside-class…

Make the FP as weird as your twitter.

Yep...
But my understanding of it is Mitsu didn't start having real financial issues until mid/ late 90s. Hence the death of most of their interesting cars too.

That's funny, I saw a chain of like 5 articles from you and said to myself, "poor Raph, stuck trying to find stuff to post on Easter."
Anyway, I found this on The Lego Car Blog the other day. Sure, it's a Morris Minor, but the details are all fantastic.

This 2CV is also lovely.

Your goal is too incorporate E40's face—any size, any context—onto the FP today.
